Developing clear communication skills for the future

Speech Therapy Communication Device
Speech Pathologists work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive- communication, and swallowing disorders. They assist children to speak, listen, understand language, read, write and use social skills as well as support children who stutter, have voice disorders or difficulty with feeding. We can also help children develop non-verbal communication such as using Key Word Signs and picture communication.

Our Speech Pathologists provide specialised assessment and intervention to improve communication using a person-centred, collaborative approach to meeting each individual’s needs.

We can help children, adolescents and adults with:

  • Producing sounds when speech is difficult to understand
  • Phonology
  • Expressing oneself and finding the right words to use
  • Life skills (expressing needs and wants)
